Online Store for Niemann Custom Calls.
All of my calls are hand made at my Shop in Northeast Wisconsin. My Duck calls are made in the Arkansas-style, meaning that the reed is held securely by a piece of cork or sonoprene wedge inside a notch carved into the tone board. All calls are hand tuned and tested by me before shipping.
Majority of my calls are hand turned on a Lathe using acrylic. Only a few are made using exotic woods. Acrylic is my preferred material since I can produce a hand made duck call that will meet or exceed other commercially available "high-end" calls at a more affordable price.
Acrylic is stronger, more durable, and more dense. This provides a louder and more crisp sound capable of calling in far off ducks, yet by lowering your breath, the Hunter can control the volume and tone to hunt the Timbers.
Please note. These are NOT Competition Calls. Calling Ducks in a judged competition is as pointless as grilling a steak for the smell rather than for dinner. The only judges my calls are designed to impress have feathers. If you are more interested in hearing yourself quack rather than blowing the head off every single Mallard that enters your sights, look elsewhere.
